Best Places To Brunch in San Diego

Claire’s on Cedros

My advice to you is to make sure you get there early! If you are not there by 11:00 a.m you will be most likely waiting online since there it get really crowded fast.  However, it is definitely worth the wait, and waiting online enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather isn’t so bad.  Once you sit down you have the option of eating some of best french toast around, braised short rib hash and one of my favorites prosciutto, fontina cheese, and runny eggs on brioche bun. Claire’s on Cedros also has a beautiful outdoor patio if you want to enjoy your brunch outside.
Cafe 21

If you are looking to enjoy a few cocktails at brunch, I highly recommend you come here. This awesome place has six different types of mimosas to choose from, pitchers of sangria, Bloody Mary’s and mojitos. Now with all of this liquor you are going to need some food to satisfy your stomach. From sandwiches to crepes to omelette’s, this place truly has it all. When I go, I always get the tiramisu pancakes, with maple espresso syrup. They are incredible! This is a great place to come with a large group of your friends.

Mediterranean Room

This elegant restaurant is located in the La Valencia Hotel. Once you make your way here you will be witnessing one of the most beautiful views in all of San Diego. The view from the restaurant overlooks colorful gardens, a sparkling pool and a dreamy pacific coastline. The Mediterranean Room is an awesome place to take that special someone as you can enjoy this breathtaking view together. Did this grab your attention yet? Well, if you’re still deciding, how about $12 bottomless mimosas, eggs benedict and a classic blue crab stuffed omelette with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes to win you over? This place never disappoints!

Tom Ham’s Lighthouse

For those of you who enjoy seafood, this is definitely the place to be. At a price of $38 a person you get a buffet of oysters, smoked salmon, fresh crab legs and so much more! Oh, and that even includes bottomless champagne for two hours. This a great price for all the food and booze you will receive! It is located on Harbor Island with views of downtown San Diego.
